The light is removed via a bored hole off center. Simply insert a philips screw driver through the light to install and remove.

CLICK HERE IF your wakeplate is in the way, like the photo below and your drain flange is close to it, all you need to do is remove the bolt (circled in blue) let the plate hinge down, install the extension (link above) and screw in the light. This will allow it to clear the hinged area.
